One of the questions I hear most often in the treatment room is:
“How often should I get a facial?”
My answer has two parts.
1. In a perfect world… every month.
Your skin cells naturally turn over about every 28–30 days. That means your skin is constantly renewing itself. Monthly facials help support this natural cycle by gently exfoliating, stimulating circulation, deeply hydrating, and correcting what daily life leaves behind.
Think of it as giving your skin the professional support it needs to stay vibrant, healthy, and glowing as it renews itself month after month.
2. But facials are more than skincare… they are self-care.
A facial should never feel like another thing on your “to-do” list. We have more than enough “to-do’s”!
Yes, we treat fine lines, dehydration, sun damage, and help slow the aging process. But, something equally important happens when you step into the treatment room. Your nervous system relaxes. Your breathing slows. Your mind gets quiet.
You reconnect with yourself.
Facials are a moment where you allow yourself to be cared for and that kind of care feeds more than your skin — it feeds your soul.
So instead of thinking facials are something you should do, or as something you are not keeping up with on a regular schedule, release the negative pressure. I invite you to think of them as something you want to give yourself when the time is right for you whether that is every month, every quarter or just before a big event.
Your skin will thank you.
And so will your spirit.
